A portrait from a photograph made by a real artist will never be a bad copy of it. Even a great picture taken by a professional photographer, there is no point in "copying one to one". A printer in any copy center can handle this much better. The artist's skill is not in copying all the pixels of the original photo as accurately as possible, but in the ability to convey the image of the model, using graphic and pictorial means of expression for this.
