Alexandre Pons, painter and photographer, was born in 1973 in Saint-Tropez, a charming port city on the Mediterranean coast. Coming from a family of artists, he grew up surrounded by art, with his father Jacques Pons, a figurative painter inspired by Fauvism, and his sister Valérie Pons, who moved towards naive art.
