Visual artist, Alexia Traore draws from the body, its history and its environment the materials and modes of expression of her research. Installations, photographs, videos, sculptures...Her visual works explore movement, intimate and collective memory, and the complexity of female experience. She is also a dancer and choreographer.

Alexia Traore's art questions the construction of human identity in a corporeal and plastic polyphony. His choreographic and visual creations implement a contemporary rereading of traditional aesthetics.
