Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. Petrikivka painting (or simply "Petrykivka") is a traditional Ukrainian decorative painting style, originating from the village of Petrykivka in Dnipropetrovsk oblast of Ukraine, where it was traditionally used to decorate house walls and everyday household items. The earliest known examples of this style date from the 17th century, but it continues to thrive and develop as a modern art form.
The distinctive features of this folk art style are its flower patterns, distinctive brush techniques, and its traditionally white background (contemporary painters, however, often work on black, green, red or blue backgrounds).
In 2012, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine recognized Petrykivka painting as a part of intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine, and it was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013. Petrykivka painting has become a "brand" in Ukrainian popular culture, and a "Petrykivka" trademark belonging to the artisans of Petrykivka village has been created. (Wikipedia)

My name is Alexander Samokhval, I am an artist from Ukraine. I live in Kiev.
I have several professions: engineer - elekstromehanik, programmer, builder, accountant, financier, banker, lawyer, cabinetmaker.
In each profession, I reached great success and made a good career.
But my favorite activity is painting. I devote all my free time to this. Now I am a pensioner, I have a lot of free time, and I got the opportunity to translate my ideas into colors on canvas and cardboard. I am very happy when my work likes not only me and gives pleasure to people.

Я имею несколько профессий: инженер-электромеханик, программист, строитель, финансист, банкир, юрист, столяр-краснодеревщик. В каждой профессии я достиг больших успехов и сделал хорошую карьеру.
Но моё любимое занятие – живопись. Я посвящаю этому всё свое свободное время. Сейчас я пенсионер, свободного времени у меня много, и я получил возможность воплощать свои идеи красками на холсте и картоне. Очень счастлив, когда мои работы нравятся не только мне и дарят удовольствие людям.
