Aleksandra Petkovic is a contemporary Serbian artist. She completed her Undergraduate and Masters studies at the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, under the guidance of Professor Veljko Lalic, obtaining her degrees in 2009 and 2012 respectively. In 2015, she curated and directed the program at Inex Gallery, where she presented her inaugural solo exhibition "THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS WITHIN YOU" in June 2015. Her second solo exhibition, "LIQUID LIGHT," took place in March 2016 at the Belgrade Youth Center Gallery. Presently, she lives and works in Lyon, France.
Utilizing sculpture and installation, alongside light as a central element in her artistic endeavors, she delves into the intangible realms, manifesting the imperceptible aspects while investigating the interplay between the concealed and the apparent. This exploration is facilitated through the interweaving of form and content.
