Since early childhood, myths and legends have been tickling my imagination, especially the ones of Atlantis and The Seven Cities of Cibola. The former being lost in the depths of the ocean and the latter buried under the sands of nameless desert. I have always wondered is there a connection between the two and what deities were worshiped.

I have always wondered is there a connection between the two and what deities were worshiped.
Somehow I deem it to be a symbiotic divine being that incorporates the main images of both-fans resembling flaring gill covers seven pieces, the seventh one being central part and the mysterious face.
As for colors, I chose a golden-silverish hue to unite the color cold marble palaces of Atlantis and the gold of The Seven Cities, to convey the unity of the opposites.

My name is Alexandra Sikoparija. I was born in Budapest. When I was six we mowed to Novi Sad in Serbia. My father was a painter and my mother sang in Opera, always wearing beautiful dresses from different epochs, so I have always been interested in art and design. Studying at the Centre for Design “Bogdan Suput“ opened new horizons for me. Upon graduating,  for years I had been traying to find my own artistic expressions in different mediums, until I discovered my passion for 3D wall art and jewelry. Since then I have been focusing on creating unique pieces of jewelry and, especially, Venetian masks in the 3D wall art form. Up to date, I have exhibited my creations at various art fairs.
