Alain Margotton, born in 1948 in Argenton sur Creuse in Indre, lives and works in Saint Thibaut in Aisne. His works have been the subject of numerous exhibitions in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Japan and Belgium. He was part of the Parisian Visionary Movement in the 1980s and regularly exhibited at the Râ gallery, the Michèle Broutta gallery and the Art Visionnaire gallery. Two works take stock of the creations of this exceptional designer: the first “Les Visionnaires” (1994) presented several artists and was published by the Râ gallery; the second, published by the artist, brought together more recent drawings (1997).
