Né à Montréal en 1962, il passa une partie de son enfance dans la région de West Brome, en Estrie. Par la suite, il vécut sur la Côte Nord, puis à Laval. Dès son adolescence, il se passionna pour la musique et développa des aptitudes de guitariste. La technologie devint également une passion pour lui. C'est alors qu’il s’inscrit au Collège Ahuntsic en «Instrumentation et contrôle» (Électronique industrielle) et obtient son DEC.
En 1984, un imprimeur lui offre un travail de représentant. C'est ainsi qu’il aborde le monde de l'imprimerie. En 1989, ses qualités de leader l’amènent à fonder sa propre entreprise offrant des produits imprimés diversifiés et haut de gamme, Alter Ego.
En 2012, l’élaboration d’une technique d’impression directement sur le médium lenticulaire fait en sorte que plusieurs artistes voient le potentiel de cette avancée technologique. Aujourd’hui, des créateur visuels de partout dans le monde travaillent avec Alter Ego et la technologie «Alteraction».
Des connaissances techniques et un grand intérêt pour les arts visuels ont permis à Al Ego de prendre vie en 2015.
En 2016, la galerie Lenticulart voit le jour et devient dès lors, la plus grande galerie au monde dédiée au médium lenticulaire. Les oeuvres d’Al Ego font partie de la collection permanente.

Born in Montreal in 1962, he spent a part of his childhood in the West Brome region the in Estrie. Subsequently, he lived on the North Shore, then in Laval. Using very innovative technologies such as lenticular printing, he has been working since 2004 to perfect processes that meet the creative ideas of his clientele of artists, designers and photographers in visual art. In 2012, the development of a printing technique directly on the lenticular medium means that several artists see the potential of this technological advance. Today, visual creators from all over the world are working with Alter Ego and the “Alteraction” technology.
Technical knowledge and interest in the visual arts have enabled Al Ego to come to life in 2015.
In 2016, the Lenticulart gallery was born and became the largest gallery in the world dedicated to the lenticular medium. The works of Al Ego are part of the permanent collection.
