Adrian One was born and raised in Hong Kong. Inspired by his mom, he picked up photography at the age of 13 and spent most of his childhood in the darkroom. To this day, the majority of his artworks are on films as he is being passionate about the color tone and grainy look of this traditional expression. Despite getting it printed under a red light, he loves the variety of textures a digital paper could offer; and how it helps to create a vision on image for the photographer.
Not to mention, he takes care of all the black-and-white developing, scanning, and printing himself. Addressing particularly the themes of nature and landscape, his work is distinguished by new and visionary lighting.
