These are manual works without the use of technology. When creating an artwork, the technique used by both Armenian masters and foreign masters is used.The stones are cut by the master himself, engraved according to the technique of Thai and Chinese stone cutters.

Collage (from French coller - gluing) - a technique in art, combining in one work emphasized heterogeneous elements (different in origin, material nature, contrasting in style)   The collage is especially characteristic of 20th century art.  In the visual arts, the collage consists in the creation of paintings or graphic works by gluing objects or materials on any base that differ from the base in color and texture.  Collage is also called a work entirely made in this technique.  The development of collage art in the 20th century is associated with the names of Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso , H. Gris.

The word "icon" is Greek, means "image", "image".  The icon is a sacred image of the Lord, the Mother of God, angels, saints and the most significant events from the sacred and church history (holiday icons).
An icon is an image that helps to concentrate in a prayer address to the person to whom they pray.
In the Orthodox tradition, the icon has a special place, and this place is determined by the fact that the icon is not only a decoration of the temple and an object of veneration, the icon has a doctrinal value. From ancient times, the icon was called the "picturesque gospel", "wordless preaching", "theology in colors." So St. Basil the Great writes: "Silent painting is the same as the word of the gospel for hearing."
 The icon is embodied prayer, says the archimandrite.  Zinon : “It is created in prayer and for the sake of prayer, the driving force of which is the love of God, the desire for Him, as for perfect Beauty.”

This series of my works speaks of music.Music as an art form .. The form of music is the organization of individual sounds, sounds, intonations (correlating tones - intervals) or musical themes in time. Music is a temporary art, unfolding in time, and rhythm is the basic principle of its temporary organization.

« The impulse of the soul to creativity-create the beautiful! »Alexander Shkarbanenko is an Armenian sculptor whose pieces have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Russia. In his works, he does not single out a main theme. Rather, all the images appear in the process of his artistic path and are presented in various series. Shkarbanenko employs varying styles, including modern, abstract, surrealism, and avant-garde. His favorite material is a dervo, he also uses metal, glass, and paint. All his pieces are created manually with the use of cutters.

" The phrase "all-round master" refers specifically to me :) " 

"From early childhood, I was fond of history, painting, and sculpture.  I made my first works as a teenager, constantly improving practical skills and learning about history, painting, geology, and jewelry in art. My favorite styles are Art Deco and Art Nouveau. All my works are handmade without using high tech, sophisticated equipment. When creating an artwork, techniques of both Armenian and foreign masters are used. Stones are carved by hand and engraved using the techniques of Thai and Chinese stone carvers."
