This is a large contemporary painting painted in an impressionistic style and painted in oils and undercoat in acrylic . It has a modern black frame with the painting floating on top. This is a stylish way of framing it and would look impressive in a modern interior. It was twilight and it was getting dark when I saw the fox in the lights from the road. It was drinking water from a puddle and was highlighted in the passing head lights of the cars. There was a moon from which the light of captured the Fox. There was something magical about this scene and I managed to get a photo and worked up the picture next day in my studio. It is painted in dark blues and blacks. with the silver light from the moon. I felt very pleased at the way it turned out as I wanted to capture the urban fox coming out from the shadows to hunt in the evening. This painting is ready to hang and comes with a certificate of Authenticity
