Tahu-nui-a-rangi
In Maori it means northern lights.
It is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that occurs when electrically charged particles from the Sun collide with oxygen and nitrogen particles present in the Earth's atmosphere.
I am inspired by the polar lights palette: bright, warm, slightly fluorescent. I prefer colors that have their own glow.
Why Maori? I like cultures of people who honored traditions, respected ancestors and maintained balance with nature in their daily lives.
An example of this is the Maori people, the owners of a beautiful language and its unusual sound.
