Elena Khmeleva was born in 1966.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, then at the Academy of Arts in Munich. The artist currently lives and works in France. His works have given rise to numerous exhibitions.
His paintings are part of the collections of some major museums, such as the Russian Museum, the Bridgement Art Library, the Saint Petersburg History Museum, the NB Gallery in Paris.
Elena Khmeleva perfectly masters the pictorial technique and her style is a mixture of classicism, cubism and impressionism. His work combines the best traditions of Russian art and the school of European painting.
Elena Khmeleva is referenced in official art guides and has a very high listing (3539 USD in 2006 at Christie's auction).
