Art image bankEkaterina Aksu is a Swiss artist based in Geneva, whose work explores the emotional and sensory dimensions of human experience through abstract painting and mixed media. A graduate of HEAD – Haute École d'art et de design (2017), she works primarily with acrylic and watercolor, often layering materials and textures to evoke mood, memory, and transformation.
Her practice is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from her inner world, life transitions, and the environments she has encountered during her travels. These cross-cultural experiences inform both her aesthetic and conceptual approach, resulting in artworks that are introspective yet universally resonant.
Ekaterina also produces commissioned pieces, tailoring her visual language to express individual stories while staying true to her artistic voice. Alongside her painting practice, she collaborates with galleries as a graphic designer, and shares her expertise as a mentor and educator, guiding emerging artists on their own creative paths.
