In my oil on canvas piece titled "The Road to Oz," I've created a vibrant and textured world that beckons viewers into an unbelievable journey. A bright red background sets the stage, adding depth and energy to the scene. Against this backdrop, a multi-coloured pastel road winds its way from the right side of the canvas to the top, inviting exploration and adventure.
At the base of this winding road are strange, round houses, each unique and intriguing. Some are nestled close to the road, while others are positioned at different stages along the path. Illuminating the scene are round, lit orbs glowing from square cuts in their surfaces, adding a mystical and otherworldly aura to the environment.
But what captures attention most are the two towering figures to the left of the canvas. Two tall women dressed elegantly as models stand confidently at the bottom, gazing at the viewer.
