The story behind this painting is a place we visited to practice making different colour with our professor. In an old building in the forest near to Tehran the area had a lot of natural provided fresh colors. This place we visited on a regular base was like heaven to me. The wall of the building was colored in the same tones as the background of "Woman"....
The story behind this painting is a place we visited to practice making different colour with our professor. In an old building in the forest near to Tehran the area had a lot of natural provided fresh colors. This place we visited on a regular base was like heaven to me. The wall of the building was colored in the same tones as the background of "Woman".
In my brain that image from that days and specifically that place is still a getaway to a world where all the responsibilities and thoughts are disconnected from daily life and challenges and is a space to just do nothing.

After experiencing with different styles Mina figured out she is more interested in expressionism, as a way to express herself. She always have been fascinated by the behavior and reaction of people’s minds. To know ones's reaction better made her learn about who she is herself. And to find peace inside. To tell a person’s story with lines, colors and expressions can tell their story. The one with the right view is the one able to read the story. This shows peoples mind in retrospective.
Her portraits are known as powerful with strong colors and lines that are coming from her imagination that she believes she met them in another life. People from different worlds and with different appearances have a story in every single paintings.
