Contemporary artist. Born in 1987 in Estonia.
Holds two higher education degrees in economics and management (completed in 2011). The systematic thinking and analytical approach acquired during her studies subsequently merged organically with her artistic exploration and allowed her to form an individual style in which precision of form is combined with depth of emotion.
In 2019, Daria began studying art history independently, paying particular attention to the development of visual language from classical art to contemporary conceptual trends. In 2020, she continued her professional training in courses on contemporary painting techniques and experimental materials.
She has completed numerous online programs and master classes with artists and schools in the United States, Australia, Germany, India, Russia, and Ukraine. This international experience has shaped her multi-layered perception of art and enabled her to combine the aesthetics of minimalism with the depth of philosophical content.
The main themes of her work are perception, form, the inner state of a person, and interaction with space. In her works, Daria explores the boundaries between the visible and the perceptible, the external and the internal, silence and movement.
Daria Vergina is an Estonian contemporary artist working in mixed media, fluid art, and epoxy resin. Her minimalist and textured abstractions explore themes of perception, silence, and emotion. Combining wood, resin, and acrylic, she creates tactile surfaces that balance structure and intuition. Influenced by modernism and conceptual art, Daria transforms simplicity into depth — turning each piece into a meditative reflection of space and form.
Daria Vergina's works are held in private collections in the United States, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, and Turkey. The artist continues to actively develop her career, participate in international exhibitions, and explore the contemporary language of visual art through materials, structure, and minimalism.
