Danilo Floreani

Danilo is an Italian photographer and Yoga teacher based in Heidelberg, Germany.      

Yoga is an integral part of his daily life and it constantly resonates in it, influencing his way of photographing.          

He is specialized in portrait and storytelling photography.

Originally Italian (born in Milan, 1985), he obtained his degree in Fine Arts in Milan and then moved to New York to attend a Filmmaking and Photography course at the New York Film Academy.

While living for two years in New York, a wondrous and vibrant city with a unique environment, lifestyle, architecture and people, he had the opportunity to further his studies and passion for photography. Upon his return to Italy, he began to work in several Italian Theaters, such as the Teatro Regio in Turin and the Franco Parenti in Milan, photographing mainly dance performances.

From 2012 till 2014 he focused on fashion photography, and worked as the assistant of fashion photographer Filippo Thiella.

Since 2009 he teaches Yoga, the ethos of which he aims to bring to his work as a photographer.

Every year he travels to India to get a deeper knowledge of the "Self".
