Une bouteille vient à présent recevoir la lumière qui fait office d'ampoule. Equipée d'une douille et éclairage G9, elle consomme seulement 2W.Entièrement adaptée a nos besoins moderne, cette lampe possède une prise secteur et un interrupteur. Sa lumière subtile, met en relief les inscriptions qu'elle comporte.
La fonte a été mise en peinture avec un effet métallique martelé. Le travail de la main durant des années a altérer le manche, que nous avons préservé en l'état et mis en évidence.
