Her journey into the realm of art was a departure from her academic pursuits in Natural Sciences, which she had diligently studied in Poitiers. In 1993, while working in Hénin Beaumont, a profound desire to express herself through painting took hold of her, compelling her to embark on a journey of self-discovery by enrolling in courses in Plastic Arts.

Christelle's scientific background uniquely informed her artistic approach. Her training had honed her skills of observation, exploration, and experimentation, and she brought these same qualities to her work in painting. Her creative process was marked by a relentless pursuit, a quest for something yet undiscovered, for the unexpected and the inexplicable.
