Art image bankCéline Cénac is a painter whose DNA is composed of Basque, Sardinian and Italian. Her works are an ode to Women.
She enjoys "giving birth" to women ready to face life with their joy, strength, resilience, fragility, sorrow, pain...
Her colorful and vibrant works are a reflection of her life as a woman and her emotions. Each of them is called "Lady" and is baptized with a first name. The features are intuitive, natural and free.
Her studio is located in Amiens in Hauts-de-France. She mainly uses acrylic and other techniques such as collage, pencil or charcoal.
She develops the use of ceramics in her paintings and declines them on clay creations.
She exhibits for the first time in 2022, during a gala for Octobre Rose as part of the fight against breast cancer. In this context, she creates a unique work "Dame Rose d'Octobre" which she offers at auction to defend the cause.
The Amiens association Centropolis working for charities, asks her at the beginning of 2023 to create the poster for International Women's Rights Day. She donates a work specially designed for the occasion, "Dame pour un monde meilleure" (acrylic on paper - 30x40cm), which will be sold at auction for €2,500. She became vice-president of the association in March 2023.
An artist committed to women, Céline Cénac is a woman of culture, stage and management. Her real name is Céline Garnier, she is the director of the Zenith in Amiens.
Roselyne Bachelot, to dedicate her book "682 days", wrote "Céline Garnier Cénac, a woman of culture, of combat AND a painter".
