Carlos Castanedo is a contemporary Spanish artist. During his 30-year career, he received various awards, including: Pancho Cossío Plastic Arts Prize 1988, Third Prize in the XVII Villa de Parla National Sculpture Contest in Madrid 1997, Honorable Mention of Culture of the Government of Cantabria in 2000, Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza Trophy 2007.
Carlos Castanedo was born in 1963, in Spain. He has exhibited his works nationally and internationally, and was part of the contemporary art fairs: KunstRai Art Amsterdam 1995, Fira Internacional d´Art Valencia 2001, Art up Lille Grand Palais 2022.
