Née en 1977, Candice Lartigue exerce d’abord le métier de comédienne avant de commencer à peindre il y a une quinzaine d’années. Elle suit des cours de modèle vivant aux beaux-arts de Paris et des cours de technique mixte aux ateliers du Carrousel. Fascinée par la matière et ses possibles, elle explore des techniques multiples avec une prédilection pour la feuille d’or. Elle présente sa première exposition en solo intitulée « Kintsugi » à la galerie Durst en mars 2023. À cette occasion, elle explore la philosophie de la résilience à travers des toiles « accidentées » dont elle souligne les failles avec de la feuille d’or. Elle prépare actuellement une exposition pour 2025 intitulée « Mémoire ».
