Mira Mikac

My name is Mira Mikac , i was born in February 1 1960. I am in the field of art since I was 5 years old.

I finished art high school in 1980 and then went on to graduate from The Academy Of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1986.

As an orthodox surrealist in the year 1993 following many exhibitions I have named the new art form i have invented during my studies at the academy called Spiritual Realism.

I live and work in my workshop called the Blue Spot. The Blue Spot is a place where everything begins.

What I designed as a child will last as long as I live. It stands for the concentrated and undisturbed universal capability of men, which bursts out in the moment of a true spiritual contact.

This way it is realized and transformed into visual symbols. Blue Spot is the residence of evolved feelings. It is like a cosmos through which we walk freely and thus own it naturally.

It is filled with indefinite possibilities and what will we choose depends upon our greatness and freedom. I own cosmos in a natural and direct way, as it's the most communicative way for me.

I have been involved in over 50 exhibitions since 1982, authors shows , many humanitarian auctions for poor children , and as an author of a new way of presenting artwork.
