Good day. I am Birutė Nomeda Aukštuolytė Kisielytė Stankūnienė. I am a painter and designer working and living in Lithuania, Vilnius. Good day. I am Birutė Nomeda Aukštuolytė Kisielytė Stankūnienė. I am a painter and designer working and living in Lithuania, Vilnius.
To create- to paint for me means- to think, communicate, solve, discover. To meditate upon what it’s like to be a human, the relationship between me and the others. To create- is to ask other people and try to find the answers yourself; it is an effort to generalize the day-to-day experience.
While creating, I care about the search for authenticity, naturalness, integration and expression of the inner being.
As for now, I work using traditional methods. I paint with oil, acrylic paint, on the canvas, cardboard, paper. I almost always select intensive, pure colours. However, in my works I use them temperately. I try to achieve contrasting and laconic effect. I am keen on painting with pastel. I also spare some time for design objects.

1963- Born in Vilnius.
1987- Graduated from Kaunas Technology University
2009- Graduated from Vilnius Art Academy.
The path to arts was not direct and easy.
1987- 2004- Working as engineer, manager.
2004- I started to implement my dreams. Since then I'm painting, also working as a furniture and interior designer.
My solo exhibitions
2006- First personal exhibition in Rumšiškės.
2007- Exhibition in Kaišiadorys.
2008- Exhibition in Elektrėnai, Municipality hall.
2009 - Kaunas, Pažaislis.
2010- Opened my personal studio/gallery in Vilnius.
The paintings cycle "7 seven feelings according to the JOB BOOK" was exhibited:
2008 - Vytauto Church, Kaunas
2009- Lutheran Church, Vilnius.
2009- Pavilnio Convent, Vilnius.
2010- Šventežerio Church.
2010- Waldorf school, Vilnius.
2011- Jurgis Matulaitis Church, Vilnius.
2012- St. Kažimieras Church, Vilnius.
2011- The book “Seven Feelings according to Job drama” based on the painting cycle was published.
