ARTIST STATEMENT:
My inspiration comes spontaneously from the elements that surround me. These elements might be the shape of a scrap of paper, a reflection on a material, a shadow in foliage…
I create my artwork by cutting out each detail of a painting with scissors. Once all the pieces are cut out, I meticulously assemble and glue them. Some areas can contain up to 8 overlapping elements.
My tools are simple: a pencil, scissors, tweezers, glue, and paper of a variety of textures and a rich range of colors.
I enjoy exploring new graphic styles; I compose the shapes and then carefully select the colors.
My works are characterized by a personal and unusual technique of creation.
My style is precise, graphic, modern, and colorful.
I address themes that are close to my heart, such as joy, respect, and peaceful relationships. My interest in the environment is also reflected in my creations, highlighting the importance of nature and our relationship with it.
The majority of the papers I use are 100% recycled, which echoes my artistic approach linked to environmental preservation and respect for natural resources.
