The richness of life is based on moment-to moment unpredictability and the mysterious order in chaos. Through fractals we discover this order, as they define the beauty and roughness of the world, it’s dynamic energy ever-changing and transforming. In art, they are the basis for how we associate both abstract and realistic imagery to reality. My paintings are not direct images from nature, but visual impressions that embody life-like qualities, reflecting the dynamical systems of nature as a whole.
