Aurélia Cheret began film photography as a teenager through her passions for music and dance. During her studies in art history, she decided to make it her profession and went to train at the Campus des Métiers in Bobigny (France) with fascinating and passionate teachers and trainers. After obtaining her diplomas, she worked for seven years in a photography shop in Seine-et-Marne (France). This allows him to deepen many facets of the profession such as the lab part, the retouching, the studio, etc.
Since 2018, she has devoted herself to her personal artistic work, which she exhibits on various occasions in Ile de France and Burgundy and sells her photos internationally. Craftsman photographer and artist, she attaches great importance to producing her prints herself as far as possible, using materials carefully selected for their quality, their rendering, and their respect for the environment.
She mainly works on two series: "States Ladies" (minimalist, surreal, absurd self-portraits) and "The Spirits of the Forest" (photographs of plants in symmetry to give birth to protective forest creatures or mandalas).
