It is about the ambivalence that man maintains with the rest of life, with the entire ecosystem. It revolves around various moral or emotional positions: - the romantic temptation (wonder, fascination, call of the Savage): Cycle of Celebrations - contradictory behaviors (consuming to satisfy our desire for the Savage): Cycle of Ambivalence - the deadly practices and the boomerang effect: Cycle of Anger. The works in this series are influenced by the work and aesthetics of the painter Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964). If G. Morandi cherished unique objects, weathered by time, made of "noble" materials, with soul and personality, this series represents the opposite: objects produced by the millions, coming out of the same mold, impersonal, polluting. We then surely find ourselves around a reflection on time, our time: it has been said of Morandi that these canvases were a discreet way of rejecting the modern world.
