Astian Rey to współczesny ukraiński rzeźbiarz. Rey określa swoją osobistą estetykę jako „święty minimalizm”, a fabuła większości jego prac jest rozwijana po szeroko zakrojonych studiach nad mistycyzmem i filozofią. Artystka bada elementy składające się na światopogląd współczesnego człowieka oraz potencjalne ścieżki rozwoju cywilizacji.

Astian Rey urodził się w 1987 roku w Kijowie na Ukrainie, gdzie ukończył Wydział Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu Borysa Grinczenki. Swoje prace wystawiał na Ukrainie, w Egipcie, Polsce, Meksyku, Hiszpanii iw USA. W 2017 roku zajął pierwsze miejsce w pierwszym na świecie BlockChain Art-Hackathon.
