Mustapha Asomani

Born 11th of May 1986, Mustapha M. Asomani has always been drawn to art and creative expression since childhood. Though he did not study art in school, his passion was always apparent throughout his school years and in 2010 after completing his university education and receiving his Bsc Zoology degree, he decided to self train pursue art full time...

He is known for portraiture, figurative and landscape paintings and his works explores the physical and social aspects of the urban communities in which he grew up in. He seeks to capture and create his own unique versions of the various stories involving people, activities, architecture, culture, markets, etc. 

His paintings offers the viewers the opportunity to reconnect with aspects of their lives that are often overlooked and ignites your sense of belongingness whiles you reflect and journey between time and space.
