Art image bankBorn in Montmartre in an artistic environment, I quickly became passionate about drawing and contemporary art.
After a first "calligraphic" series between rigor and movement,
guided by the meaning and work of color (2022-2023), I also explore other horizons.
The poetry of an arbitrary assembly of abstract forms has indeed led me to take on these superimposed elements more.
More imposing, often black and in the foreground, these forms question the individual and his place in society, a romantic relationship, a personal struggle (2024).
Finally, it is also through photography that I try to tell this story.
From canvas prints, adding shapes and silhouettes allows me to express what I think is missing from images, captured beforehand on film or iPhone.
It is the idea, or the hypothesis, that there is a hidden meaning in everything in life, and therefore in every composition, which would give a clear explanation to our feelings, our sensations, and everything that animates us but seems inexplicable to us.
With each image this question: Does it perfectly translate reality?
How can I express the emotion felt in front of this building? in the presence of this friend? of this flower?
Why is such a "banal" vision for one a journey for another?
In search of a sensory mystery, faced with so few answers to our feelings, these works are as many answers that I try to find.
