Diplômée de la HEAR Strasbourg (BA) en 2008 et de l'ENSP Arles (MA) en 2013, Anne-Camille Allueva développe un ensemble d'œuvres liées aux processus de création et d'apparition de l'image photographique. Elle propose de définir l'image comme un matériau, en explorant ses particularités et ses relations avec l'espace. Travaillant au sein d'objets photographiques et sculpturaux, elle cherche à proposer un mouvement d'engagement vers le visible. Elle utilise des matériaux dont les traitements lui permettent de matérialiser des notions qui lui semblent fondamentales dans la compréhension du photographique et de ses modalités d'apparitions. Elle explore les composantes dialectiques de l'image : par l'opacité et la transparence, la surface et les couches, la présence et l'absence, la forme et forme évoquée. Basées sur une approche théorique en relation avec la photographie, ses dernières œuvres investissent la question plus large du visible et de ses phénomènes d'apparition. Anne-Camille Allueva cherche à explorer la source du visible : un phénomène, une expérience, une temporalité, questionnant ainsi l'acte de voir ainsi que l'état de présence.
