Shangina Alina Vladimirovna, born in 1995 in Minusinsk, is a traditional watercolor and NFT artist from Siberia. Specializing in realism, Alina’s work primarily focuses on portraying people, often inspired by iconic photographs from the internet, as well as her own original images that evoke strong emotions. She has been passionate about drawing since childhood and has developed her artistic skills independently for over seven years.
Alina’s formal education includes graduating from art school in 2011, completing studies at the College of Culture and Arts in 2015, and earning an advanced training certificate in "Academic Drawing and Painting" from the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts in 2020. Her work has earned recognition in various exhibitions, including first and second places in the "Painting" category named after I. Surikov.
Her vibrant, sunny paintings are part of private collections in the UK, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and eight states in the USA. Alina’s current work explores themes such as people, figurative art, animals, landscapes, and realistic portraits. She draws inspiration from iconic images and photography, believing that people are rich sources of ideas, emotions, and inspiration.
In addition to painting, Alina is an avid photographer, drawn to capturing memorable faces, expressive characters, and dynamic movements. Each of her characters carries a personal story, which she conveys to her audience through her artwork.
