Alena Schneider is an artist and painter from Tyumen, Russia. She graduated from the Tyumen State Institute of Culture and Art in 2006, majoring in Decorative and Applied Arts, and from the Tyumen University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2013, majoring in Architect.
Alena is constantly looking for new directions and materials for her work. Her works reflect her observation of the world around her: architecture and nature. She works in two main directions: stylized plant and animal motifs and geometrism. Her work is dominated by abstract paintings of geometric shapes and smooth lines. Alena uses a variety of materials and mixed media in her works, creating compositional solutions from simple to complex.
She is currently working on a series of abstract oil landscapes. The creative process begins with observing natural patterns, lines, shapes, and color palette. The ideas are then transformed into compositions based on the chosen theme. Works with natural motifs reflect a love for the beauty and wonder of nature.
