Alejandro Alexis García Núñez. La Habana, Cuba. 22 de marzo de 1970. Cubano-peruano. Dedicado fundamentalmente a las Artes Visuales, se ha manifestado a través del diseño, el grabado, la estampa, el teatro, la pintura, el objeto esculturado y la cerámica. Incursionando también en otras áreas como director de arte en cine, escenógrafo, editor gráfico, docente, curador independiente y la gestión cultural. Considerando siempre a la poesía como un modo de concebir la vida, una compañera de viaje y reflexión íntima.

Vinculado desde los dieciocho años a importantes instituciones culturales de la isla como el Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales, Taller de Serigrafía y Técnicas Mixtas René Portocarrero, Taller Experimental de Gráfica de La Habana, ha participado en varias ediciones de la Feria Internacional de Artesanía FIART, Encuentros Internacionales de Serigrafía y Técnicas Mixtas, Encuentro Internacional de Grabado GRAHABANA. Su llegada a Lima a través de la Asociación de Video de Lima luego de una experiencia en la Escuela Internacional de Cine de San Antonio de los Baños, lo sitúa en otro extremo de lo cubano. Desde entonces su obra da un giro que refiere a este fenómeno con insistencia. Ha sido docente en la Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de bellas Artes del Perú y en la escuela de arte Corriente Alterna. Ha expuesto en el Museo Pedro de Osma del Perú, en el Palacio de Las Artes de Miraflores en Perú, así como en la Galería Orígenes y el propio Taller Experimental de Gráfica de La Habana en Cuba.
