Linda Armstrong has been painting since 1987. She is largely self-taught, but she has had some training and much practice. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Linda now lives in western Colorado, U.S.A. and makes her living as a freelance writer.

Biography
I am a contemporary painter. I do abstracts based on architectural forms and similar patterns of light and shadow as angular relationships in rock formations. I also do pastel figure studies on toned paper, pastel and charcoal angels on stretched and gessoed polyester fabric, charcoal figures with acrylic glazes on canvas.
