Ka Ming Chu (Ah Chu)

I have a very old-fashioned Chinese name, “Chu” is my surname and I do hope to keep this inherited element, thus “Ah Chu” was derived and is being used in all my art pieces.

Ah Chu was born in a traditional Chinese family, just like many lefties, I was forced against my natural inclination to write with my right hand. It also happened on King George VI of England. If left-handed people are really more artistic than the right-handed people, maybe my feeling has been frozen for quite a long time, it will occasionally emerge in my life. I am so engrossed by paintings, photography and handicraft. In recent years, I commenced my drawing journey in oil painting, material painting, abstract painting and multimedia design, don’t want to give up especially I have something I feel this passionately about pursuing.
