Agnès Adamowicz
Autodidacte, amateur, procrastinator since my childhood. I started drawing trying to copy the tapistry hanged in the toilets of my uncle's house, and eventually did some class at Artschools but was a very shy and immature pupil, for that reason I don't believe that my formative years had a positive impact on my creativity. Anyway, I have always drawn for myself in the corners of my textbooks.
Professionally, I am an auxiliary nurse in a Neonatalogy unit in Bordeaux Hospital.
I started my collages in 2013 as a crafty leisure time, trying to copy a certain aesthetic. I had a lot of fun forging them but I was not very satisfied at the time.
I use world of Aramco magazines, paper, cutter blades, scissors, white glue and some music.
I slowly began to use fragments of pictures as touches of paint. Through juxtaposition, superposition of previously cut prints; colors and patterns blend in and transform into… something.
With time, I chose my palette more wisely and reached a sense of accomplishment ever since.
