Juan Britos nació en el Chaco, al norte de Argentina en el año 1978. Es dibujante y pintor. Estudió desde muy joven los libros de Andrew Loomis sobre anatomía y el pensar de Goethe sobre el color. Desde entonces Juan, o "Joao" como lo llaman sus amigos, no ha dejado su pasión por la actividad artística.
Es Maestro Mayor de obras y se formó en arquitectura y fotografía, aún hoy lo hace, cree que estudiar es la clave del crecimiento y el desarrollo humano.
En 1994 estaba produciendo sus primeros trabajos, principalmente ilustraciones a tinta y pinturas al óleo. Lo que resultó en su primera exposición individual en el año 1999 siendo aún muy joven, mostrando en esta oportunidad obras de imágenes fantásticas y surrealistas en un entorno biomecánico de febril imaginación.
En 2008 fue su última gran exposición individual que se realizó en el Centro Cultural Borges de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Aquí presento "El protegido" una historia gráfica donde cuenta las aventuras y desventuras humanas en un ambiente caótico futurista, con remezones cubistas inspirado en una fantasiosa iconografía de ciencia ficción casera.
Durante los años 2010 y 2011 forma parte como ilustrador e ideólogo de la historieta "Juicio y Castigo en el Chaco". Relato que narra los juicios a los policías y militares involucrados en el terrorismo de estado.
Desde el año 2011 hasta la fecha lleva adelante el taller de serigrafía para la agrupación Hijos y la comisión provincial por la memoria del Chaco.
Hoy tiene su propia marca de ropa, ilustra una novela gráfica sobre la explotación de las granjas de cerdos y presenta sus serigrafías en la vía publica en las principales ciudades de Argentina, Bolivia y Paraguay.
