Fouschy ( Valérie Descat ) , artiste peintre autodidacte , est originaire de Biganos un petit village du Bassin d'Arcachon . Sa première source d'inspiration est venue des paysages exotiques d'Afrique . A la suite d'un voyage au Brésil en 2006 son expression naïve et colorée se confirme . Après sa rencontre avec le Vésuve à Naples en 2013 , elle présente une série de tableaux sur le volcan qui marqueront un tournant allégorique à sa peinture . Si la Nature est toujours au coeur de son engagement pictural on notera aussi la présence de l'emblématique pinasse du Bassin d'Arcachon , humanisée avec tendresse et humour . Les oeuvres de Fouschy militent pour un regard doux et bienveillant sur toutes les formes de vie qui nous entourent , et pour une prise de conscience de l'importance de la Nature si souvent sacrifiée .
