Madiorio

Maria Di Iorio was born in a small town in São Paulo state, Brazil. In 1995, moved to Portugal with her family and lives there since then. Has been attracted to painting since she was a small child. Produced her first painting 25 years ago: a still life, oil on canvas.
A trip to Australia and the contact with aboriginal art sparked her interest in the abstract art as a way of expressing the light and joy so essential to life.
