Né en 1956, ZANDA a passé son enfance à Lagrasse dans les Corbières au cœur du Département de l’Aude, bercé par l’histoire et les traditions du Pays Cathare.
Issu de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse, il fait voyager et communique l’amour de son terroir en France et dans le Monde entier.
Par sa peinture réalisée à l’encre rouge, jaune et noire, il est l’ambassadeur de sa région, au travers de ses mélodies picturales.
Et si l’on parle de mélodies, le mot n’est pas vain, car il est musicien, ambiancier de la vie comme il aime le dire, et magicien des mots, qu’il manipule dans toutes les dimensions, et que l’on retrouve dans ses tableaux.
Cet univers est mené de main de maitre par un chien nommé Kui-Kui, le chien cabot, qui ne manque pas d’allure et qui dans son œil pétillant observe et accompagne l’artiste.
De ce choix judicieux découle une tonalité ludique et chaleureuse où germe un monde onirique.
