J’ai apprivoisé et expérimenté depuis ma plus tendre enfance toutes les techniques de peinture : gouache, pastel gras, aquarelle, huile, acrylique…
Dans les années 90, j’ai découvert les ocres naturels, sables et argiles ramassés au hasard de voyages. Appliqués sur des sacs postaux usagés en toile de lin, les déchirures de la toile, les coutures, les salissures, les plis formés qu’elle présentait venaient s’intégrer naturellement dans la composition pour en donner les reliefs et figurer ombres et lumière, fruits ou végétaux, rochers et sentiers, vagues, écume, lune ou soleil…
Depuis quelques années, je reviens à mes premières amours : l’huile. Elle est douce, sensuelle… L’odeur de la térébenthine m’accompagne dans l’immersion des paysages et des marines que je peins.
Les éléments de la nature sont ma source principale d’inspiration : la terre et l’eau.
J’aime la couleur, les bleus, les jaunes, le vert, le rouge… Je travaille au pinceau et/ou couteau (technique mixte) en fonction des sujets, des vibrations, de l'intensité que je veux donner à mes tableaux.
