Muriel Cayet, coloristisch schilder en gediplomeerd kunsttherapeut, werd geboren in 1961 in Ivry sur Seine.
Ze woont en werkt al ruim vijfentwintig jaar in Berry. Ze exposeert al twintig jaar regelmatig op alle continenten en tot nu toe heeft ze honderden persoonlijke tentoonstellingen over de hele wereld gehad. Het is aanwezig in talrijke privécollecties in minstens vijftien landen in Europa, maar ook in de Verenigde Staten, Canada, Australië en Azië.
Als multidisciplinaire kunstenaar plaatst ze het creatieve proces centraal in haar prioriteiten. Resoluut in overdracht en training is ze een meester geworden in het ondersteunen van creatie door gedurende twintig jaar talloze workshops en cursussen voor creativiteitsontwikkeling te initiëren. Zijn werk als schilder maakt deel uit van een verlangen om verschillende universums te creëren - zijn schilderij is in wezen een landschapsschilderij - maar nog meer om de levenden te herstellen, op doeken die allemaal uit dezelfde familie komen: die van kleur!
