Claude Duvauchelle is een hedendaagse Franse kunstenaar. Sinds twee decennia is hij gefascineerd door het menselijk lichaam. Het is een eindeloze inspiratiebron voor hem, die hem in staat stelt de emoties, angsten en hoop van de moderne mens te uiten. Hij probeert de problemen en vervreemding weer te geven die worden veroorzaakt door het geweld van de moderne beschaving. Duvauchelle vertegenwoordigt een mensheid die zich wendde tot haar oorspronkelijke bestialiteit, slaaf van haar meest destructieve neigingen, voortdurend de technieken en inhoud veranderend om redundantie te voorkomen.
Claude Duvauchelle werd geboren in 1953 in Frankrijk. Zijn werken waren te zien in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen in heel Frankrijk.
