Hallo!
In mijn werken probeer ik de aandacht van de kijker te vestigen op zowel het uiterlijk als de interne component van onze wereld. 'De wereld is niet wat het lijkt', en dat is het ook. Ik probeer mijn filosofie te presenteren en te delen met anderen.
Ik werk in mixed media. Naast de ideeën van de schilderijen zoek ik naar materialen die de essentie van de werken zo getrouw mogelijk overbrengen. Schilderen is voor mij een manier om afstand te nemen van de rationaliteit van het technisch onderwijs naar een ander waarnemingsniveau. Balans is waarschijnlijk het criterium dat mij nauw aan het hart ligt.
Vereshchagin, Bosch en Dürer zijn de kunstenaars die mij in de kunstwereld hebben geïntroduceerd. En onder invloed van wie ik nog steeds ben. Onlangs kwam ik dichter bij de Russische kunstenaar Vrubel. De precisie, mystiek en legendes ervan spraken mij aan.
