Monique GASTAUD vit et travaille dans la région niçoise. Le nu académique, le monde animalier et le combat pour la cause animale sont ses thèmes de prédilection, l'être humain faisant partie intégrante du monde animal.  Monique a réalisé plusieurs affiches. Ses tableaux ont obtenu de nombreuses distinctions nationales, internationales et beaucoup d’entre eux se trouvent dans des institutions nationales, parcs animaliers, musées et collections privées telles que dans les Musées Royaux d’Art et d’Histoire de BRUXELLES ainsi que la prestigieuse Fondation MESNAGE AUGIER de l'hôtel NEGRESCO à Nice.

Monique GASTAUD lives and works in the area of Nice. The nude and the fight for the animal cause are her favourite themes, human kind being part of the animal's world. Monique created several billboards too for national institutions. Her paintings obtained numerous national and international distinctions, many are part of private collections, owned by city halls, wildlife parks, museums such as the Royal Art and History Museum of Brussels, Belgium and the prestigious MESNAGE AUGIER foundation of the hotel NEGRESCO in Nice.
