Persons with special abilities will be exhibiting their paintings in Malta in a series of exhibitions by the Torball Society for the Blind. The organisation has been entrusted to Indian artist Nikki Anand. Art is a universal language which brings together persons with special abilities. One of the founders of the Torball Society, Noel Farrugia, explained that the society understood well that art breaks down barriers and creates a humanity based on love. The Torball Society invited Indian artist Nikki Anand to organise a number of art exhibitions in Malta to show works by the visually impaired. Nikki Anand works with different persons to help those in difficulties find a scope in life through art, even by promoting the natural environment and vertical gardens, which is a very good idea for Malta. The first exhibition will involve some 20 artists with special abilities, hailing from Cuba, India, Russia, China and Georgia, together with representatives from European countries. The projects are being carried out in collaboration with the Parliamentary Secretariat for the Disabled and the Fortina Spa Resort. Travel Partner - Turkish Airlines
