   The second part of TAG's Re-Emergence will be at The Temple of Music & Art in Tucson, Arizona. The opening reception is on Friday, March 18, from 5:30 - 7:30.    During the mid 1980's I awakened before sunrise in order to photograph the streets, buildings and neighborhoods of my downtown environment. The buildings I chose, first of all were of interest to me, either because of their style, the building materials, or the setting. Next I looked for the words; signs on or around the buildings that added additional layers of meaning. The early morning time meant that few people were out in the street. Few people are in the images.
